Chia Pudding

Chia Pudding

This breakfast of mine caught a lot of buzz last week because it looks very interesting.  Everyone has to ask “what the heck are you eating”?  This is a very healthy, fulfilling, nutrient packed breakfast that can be made the night before so you can grab and go in the morning.

I have made this so much that I just dump things together without measuring so here is my attempt at giving you measurements.

3 Tbsp Chia Seeds

1-2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds

1 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder

1 Tbsp. Xylo Sweet or sweetener of your choice

1 tsp. honey

3/4 Cup Almond Milk

Nuts of your choice (I have been using pistachios lately)

Fruit of your choice (I have been doing strawberries, raspberries, and mangos)

Just want to give a shout out to The Honest Company for making an awesome fruit and veggie wash that I love.  THANK YOU!

You can get really adventurous with this recipe and add things that you love and change it up a lot so you don’t get bored.

Start out by adding all your dry ingredients together.

Then you add the wet ingredients and mix them thoroughly.

It will look watery but if you let it sit for 10-15 minutes and stir occasionally you get this.

It is not the most gorgeous looking food in the world but it’s amazing for you with great protein, omega 3’s, and antioxidants.

In this version I put sliced mango and macadamia nuts in.

Happy experimenting 😉
